This is my final design for the Lancaster Medical Group brochure.
I have done a simple but effective front page with just one image, heading and logo. I think less is more on the front page so I left it simple.
The next page I thought would be a great 'About Us' section because I felt this was the most important section to persuade the readers that Lancaster Medical Group is a great company to work for and basically selling the company to them. I have split the page into half so that there is contrast between the images and text. I have used an image of happy employees here because it fit for purpose and visually communicates what the second page is about. I have used tick boxes and bullet points in one section instead of paragraphs and I have used icons to display what the text is referring to.
The third page I decided would be great to sell Lancaster as a place and why it's a great place to work in, it has some statistics which is currently in Lorem Ipsum, but would explain the facts and statistics about happiness of the locals of Lancaster and why the place is a great location. There will also be some text about the history of Lancaster, the university and landmarks.
Overall, I am happy with the outcome of my brochure because I think it visually communicates what the brochure is about and it prioritises the most important points. I think the balance between images, body text, bullet points, icons and headings is good. I have used the same colour in the logo throughout the brochure providing consistency. It definitely looks a lot more interesting to read compared to an A4 sheet of size 8 text.
